SMS, MMS and STOP

How 2nd Phone Line messaging works, how you consent, and how to opt out. Carriers require this page to be public before they will approve our 10DLC campaign.

Last updated 28 August 2026
Consent language (the sentence campaign review looks for). By creating a 2nd Phone Line account and requesting a phone number, you agree to receive SMS and MMS on that number from people you message, and transactional messages from 2nd Phone Line (CircleRoll LLC) about your account, delivery and number status. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See Privacy Policy and Terms.

Program

How you opt in

Opt-in happens in the app, not on this website. There is no phone-number field on this site because we do not collect your existing mobile number to sign up.

  1. You create an account with email, Apple or Google.
  2. You accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.
  3. You request a 2nd Phone Line number. Assignment is at that request.

That sequence is the message flow we describe to The Campaign Registry. We keep a record of which version of the terms you accepted.

What we send

We do not send promotional SMS as part of this program.

STOP, HELP, START

Keywords are case-insensitive. Standard message and data rates apply.

HELP message (the text we send)

2nd Phone Line: a second number for texts and calls. Help: hello@2ndphoneline.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Carrier rules

US long codes used from an app are A2P 10DLC. Sending stays off on a new number until our campaign is approved. The app surfaces that honestly. We do not embed marketing links in service SMS.
