The rules for using 2nd Phone Line — the app, the number we assign you, and the credits that pay for metered use.
2nd Phone Line is operated by CircleRoll LLC, 8735 Dunwoody Place, Ste N, Atlanta, GA 30350. These terms are an agreement between you and CircleRoll LLC. Related policies: Privacy Policy and SMS terms.
You create an account with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google. We do not require your existing mobile number to sign up. You must be old enough to form a contract in your place of residence, and at least 13.
You are responsible for activity on the account. If you enable two-factor authentication, keep the recovery codes; we cannot reconstruct them.
A number is assigned only after you request one. It is not yours as a property interest — it is a service we provide, subject to carrier availability, 10DLC registration, and these terms.
US long-code messaging is application-to-person traffic under carrier 10DLC rules. We cannot enable sending on a new US number until our campaign is approved. The app says so rather than pretending. Details of consent, STOP and HELP are in the SMS terms.
Group messages, scheduled sends and disappearing messages work as described in the app. Disappearing messages can still be screenshotted; the screen that turns the feature on says that.
This app is not a 911 service. Emergency numbers are handed to your phone's own dialer so the call reaches emergency services with your real location and your carrier number. Do not rely on 2nd Phone Line in an emergency.
You may not use 2nd Phone Line to spam, spoof, harass, commit fraud, or evade carrier or legal rules. We may suspend sending or release a number when a carrier or the law requires it, or when traffic violates these terms. A kill switch on our side pauses sending without deleting what you have written.
You may port a number in or out, subject to the gaining or losing carrier. Port-out is a legal duty; we will not obstruct a valid request. The in-app port-out screen tells you what you will lose.
Account deletion is in the app. It destroys data; it does not deactivate. Uninstalling the app without deleting the account leaves the number and messages in place until dormancy or you come back.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict rules, except where your local consumer law cannot be waived. If a court strikes a clause, the rest remains.
